Now, onto my surprise – which has been ruined no doubt by the title. I tried out making a time lapse video while I paint. There are some kinks to work out, but I thought I’d share some of the shots with you anyway. More videos to come this month! Enjoy!

Loved the time lapse. I didn’t know you paint with gloves, why is that?

Mostly just to keep my hands clean but also I’m working with a lot of chemicals and some of them can be absorbed so your skin. I started using gloves when I was painting and also had a small child. If he needed me and I needed to interrupt my painting I wasn’t sure if a simple hand washing with soap would take care of all the chemicals that were already on my hands. Plus shortly after painting sometimes I would have to go and prepare dinner.
So safety and prevention. I don’t want to find out in 20 years that I should’ve been protecting myself better.
